Yes, I was the last one in, but even though it was 86 today, the pool was still too cool for my taste. Cranked up the hot tub tonight for the first time and again I was the last one in, but hey someone has to hold the camera! Too bad my photography skills are not quite up to par, the hot tub pics came out crappy, but trust me, the jacuzzi was awesome!

Whew, got the first banana tree in, now I just have to make room for 3 more. There are hibiscus and other dead or unattractive bushes & weeds lining the yard, some are savable but most are not. Times like these I wish for a back hoe. But thats dreaming, there is an underground sprinkler system, arg!

Homemade & homegrown lemonade.

Made with freshly picked lemons direct from our back yard tree. Can't take all the credit for that though, the tree was already here when we bought the house. BUT now Mason wants to plant sugar cane so that our lemonade is 100% homegrown!

The Day The Anole Moved In!

And then moved out, this house isn't big enough for all of us!

OK, so today was furniture delivery day, no comment is all I can manage at the moment, along with I am NEVER, EVER moving again!

I wish I could take a nap like this...

Poor guy, it has been grueling for us and boring for him around here with no TV or furniture, etc, trying to get as much painting & cleaning done before moving in. But at least we have a chair now, yesterday he fell asleep in a cardboard box!

There are turtles in our pool!

The pool was so opaque that we had no idea there was a family of tiled mosaic turtles in our pool, surprise!
