Park #4 was Sherwood Island State Park and as much as I would like to share some pictures with you we forgot the camera. In spite of the 80% chance of rain, hail and severe thunderstorms predicted we had a very nice morning. See, it does pay to be reckless and go against prevailing wisdom sometimes! Highlight's were a scavenger hunt, water olympics (water experiments) and a service dog that Mason spent time petting (now he wants a German Shepard) and a hot air balloon basket that he was able to climb in. Oh and a short but cute little maze made from lobster pots! .We had never been to this beach before but thought it was lovely and plan on returning soon.
From Westport we headed up to Granby where P&W (military engines) holds its annual party at High Meadows. They outdid themselves this year folks and Jim remembered his camera so we were able to capture plenty of the fun.
